Our pay is highly competitive within the legal market, with trainees currently starting on a salary of £43,000. In your second year as a trainee, this rises to £49,000. In addition to your basic salary, you will also be eligible for a performance-related bonus after each trainee seat.
We pay the course fees and provide a maintenance grant for the GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law) and LPC (Legal Practice Course): GDL in London (£8,000), GDL outside London (£7,000) and LPC at the University of Law in Moorgate (£7,000).
On qualification, you can expect a Total Cash potential (basic salary and performance bonus combined) of up to circa £90,000.

You are entitled to 27 days' annual holiday, as well as bank holidays. In addition you will have an additional day off for your birthday or special day. To further enhance your annual leave entitlement, you have an annual opportunity to buy up to five additional days holiday through salary sacrifice.
At the end of your training contract, you will have the chance to take qualification leave. As a qualified lawyer you will also have the opportunity, at certain points in your career, to take a four week sabbatical.

We proactively monitor and review working time and have a formal scheme in place which provides opportunities for additional annual leave to be used after a busy period.
